Sold by square foot with a minimum 25 sqft of 3/8" that vary in length between 2 and 5 feet. It comes in a mix of 3-1/2" and 5" faces. Each board's texture, color, nail holes, knots, etc. will subtly vary. The wood is milled to a workable point but the perfection is in the imperfection of the wood.
